Patrick Mackeown - Author of several books

Hello and welcome.

I'm an English thriller author. My influences are Grahame Greene's The Third Man, Erskine Childers' The Riddle of the Sands, and John Buchan's The Thirty Nine Steps, among other dashing works of English fiction.

In my first thriller novel, The Expendability Doctrine, I've done my best to pour all of the great men's spirits into a work of breathtaking pace and political intrigue.

I've also written a number of poems, some of which have been published or performed on stage, and some others of which have been written as personal requests. These have been combined into a small poetry collection called Hemispheric Verse 2007. Please have a browse through this site to find out more about these two books.

My complete writings span quite a number of years, and have been published in various places. These include gastronomic collections, satirical web portals, newspaper columns, novels and poetic anthologies.
